Analysis of the causes of bulging in lithium iron phosphate batteries.


1.Overcharging can cause lithium batteries to swell and swell.

Overcharging of batteries can cause lithium molecules in the positive electrode material to completely enter the positive electrode material, leading to deformation and collapse of the primary circular grid at the positive electrode level. This is the key reason for the decrease in battery capacity of lithium iron phosphate batteries. As the total number of lithium-ion batteries increases at a negative level, the excessive deposition of lithium molecules causes them to grow into tree like structures, leading to the expansion of the lithium-ion battery.

2. Power outage causes bulging.
When a lithium liquid rechargeable battery is first charged, the metal electrode and lithium battery electrolyte reflect on the solid high-performance liquid phase page, resulting in a passivation layer covering the surface of the metal electrode.

The generated passivation film can effectively block the molecular structure of the electrolyte in lithium batteries, but Li+can be randomly placed according to the passivation layer and adsorbed by the resin, possessing the characteristics of a solid electrolyte. Therefore, this passivation film is called SEI. SEI film is not static, and there will be a small amount of conversion during the entire process of battery charging, mainly because some organic compounds can undergo reversible conversion.

Excessive charging and discharging within the lithium iron phosphate battery pack can cause reversible ring breakage of the SEI plastic film, leading to collapse after maintaining the SEI and ultimately resulting in packaging issues.

3. This is a matter of manufacturing level
The manufacturing level of lithium iron phosphate battery packs has packaging conditions, the plating film of lithium battery packs is asymmetric, and the production process is not smooth.

4. Lithium iron phosphate batteries may swell over long-term use. Due to the conductivity of gas to a certain extent, prolonged charging and discharging time is equivalent to direct contact between the positive and negative electrodes of the battery, causing long-term short circuit faults.
