Battsys Earns "B" Rating in 2025 CDP Climate Change Report

Guangzhou Battsys Technology Co., Ltd. (“Battsys”), a dedicated participant in the global climate effort, has completed its fifth consecutive year of environmental disclosure. Since first being invited to join the 9,600 global respondents in 2020, Battsys has consistently reported its annual greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and water security data to CDP through 2025.

In the 2025 CDP Annual Assessment, Battsys was awarded a "B" rating - the highest achievement tier for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). This rating places Battsys ahead of the global, regional, and industry averages, all of which currently stand at a "C" level.

Despite ongoing global challenges, environmental transparency reached new heights in 2025, with over 22,100 companies—representing more than half of the world’s market capitalization and including numerous industry giants—disclosing data through CDP. At the same time, over 1,000 cities, states, and regions, home to more than one billion people, participated in the 2025 disclosure cycle. The insights derived from this collective data are empowering local governments to bolster regional resilience and unlock significant economic synergies.

As one of the world’s most influential non-profit platforms for environmental transparency, CDP is widely recognized as the "gold standard" for corporate climate action. In 2025, the CDP scoring framework evolved beyond carbon management to a comprehensive evaluation across 12 critical dimensions, including business strategy, risk and opportunity management, environmental policy, and value chain engagement.

Battsys launched its inaugural GHG emissions inventory in 2020, alongside the establishment of robust emission reduction targets and a long-term sustainability roadmap. A significant milestone was reached in 2021 when the company’s 10-year emission reduction commitment was approved by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), making Battsys one of the first 800+ companies globally to achieve this validation. Grounded in the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, Battsys leverages the CDP and SBTi frameworks not only to measure sustainability performance but also as a core driver for continuous organizational improvement.
