Global competition pattern in lithium battery industry: China, Japan, and South Korea are all strong, with Panasonic taking the lead.
At present, the global lithium battery industry presents a tripartite pattern of strong support from China, Japan, and South Korea. According to the global power lithium battery shipment data released by SNE Research in 2018, Panasonic's power lithium battery shipment volume has become the top enterprise in the world, with a shipment volume of 13.38 GWh, while China's CATL ranks second with a shipment volume of 11.07 GWh. According to the top 10 global lithium battery companies in terms of shipment volume in 2018 and the top 10 global lithium battery companies not included in China's electric vehicle installation calculation, there is a significant global difference.
