The application of
lithium iron phosphate batteries in the forklift industry.
Most forklift batteries are mainly lead-acid batteries. In recent years, with the emergence of new energy concepts and the gradual improvement of people's environmental awareness, lithium iron batteries have also emerged, changing the status of traditional lead-acid forklift batteries. Lithium iron phosphate batteries are used in electric forklifts and have the following advantages:
1. The working voltage is high. The increase in working voltage can improve the stability of batteries. The working voltage of lithium iron phosphate batteries is 3.2V, which is much higher than that of lead-acid batteries with a working voltage of 2.1V.
2. Greater than energy. The mass specific energy of lithium iron phosphate batteries is 120Wh/kg, and the volume specific energy is 200Wh/L. The energy ratio of the two is almost three times that of lead-acid batteries. Lithium iron phosphate batteries can achieve the same capacity with only one-third of their mass and volume, greatly reducing the mass and volume of the battery.
3. Long service life and high cost-effectiveness. Lithium iron phosphate has good stability and can be charged and discharged more than 2000 times. The cycle life of lead-acid batteries is only about 300 times, up to 500 times. Overall, the performance price ratio of lithium iron phosphate batteries is four times that of lead-acid batteries.
4. High safety performance, environmentally friendly, and pollution-free.
Lithium iron phosphate batteries use safe and reliable imported positive electrode materials, paired with a stable and reliable power management system, and undergo strict safety testing, so even in serious accidents, explosions will not occur. In terms of environmental protection, it does not contain any harmful heavy metal elements to the human body, is basically pollution-free, and non-toxic.
5. High power discharge. The special design can enable the battery capacity to reach 10 times for rapid discharge. This instantaneous high current discharge accelerates the electric forklift and provides power for lifting goods no less than that of internal combustion vehicles.
