How to choose 18650 lithium battery?

Suitable batteries should be selected based on the intended use of the product. Nowadays, when designing batteries for new products, designers can easily think of lithium batteries, but they lack understanding on how to choose the right lithium battery. Lithium is the lightest non gaseous metallic substance in nature, with lower intrinsic potential than any other metal. Therefore, compared with other types of batteries, lithium battery spot welding machines produce lithium batteries with the highest capacity (capacity per unit weight) and packing density (volume per unit volume), and have unparalleled advantages.

Compared with polyethylene lithium batteries, LiMnO2 batteries have advantages in structural strength, bulk density, safety, and output capacity, but their service life is only half of the former. The internal resistance of this battery is lower than other batteries, making it very suitable for devices that require high current continuous (or short-term) power supply. The active material of lithium iodide batteries is completely solid, so it is the best. The battery is designed with an isolation layer inside, which can play a "self-healing" role when the outer shell is damaged by external forces. The biggest disadvantage of lithium iodide batteries is that they have a large internal resistance and are not suitable for small load devices. The most widely used battery in the military/aerospace field is LiSO2 battery. However, the battery packing density of this lithium battery assembly and processing equipment is lower than that of LiMnO2 batteries and polyethylene batteries, and its service life and bulk density are only half of LiSOCl2 batteries.
